Fees, Charges & Terms
Opening Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Outside these hours (including weekends): By request only and may incur an additional after-hours service fee.
After-Hours Service Fee
Applied when vehicle pick-up or return occurs outside standard business hours.
Standard hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Includes:
• Airport pick-up or drop-off
• Waiting time
• After-hours coordination
After-hours service fee: $50 – $100 (depending on time, availability, and coordination required).
Fuel Policy
Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.
If not:
• Fuel refill cost will be charged
• + $50 service fee
Fuel must be replaced with unleaded fuel only.
Cleaning Fee
Vehicle must be returned clean and tidy.
Fees apply for:
• Mud or sand
• Rubbish left inside
• Spills or strong odours
Cleaning fee: $50 – $150 (depending on condition).
Late Return Policy
Vehicles must be returned on the agreed date.
• Late return = charged an extra full day
• Failure to notify late return may result in additional charges
Recovery & Call-Out Fee
Applies if vehicle is:
• Driven through floodwater
• Taken off-road, beach, or bush tracks
• Used outside Pormpuraaw without approval
From $200 + towing, recovery, and transport costs.
Additional costs may apply depending on location, distance, and vehicle condition.
Approved Use
• Local Pormpuraaw use only unless approved
• Authorised drivers only
Payments
• Payment required before hire
• No purchase orders accepted
• Card payments via secure invoice link (Xero)
• Bank transfer available (must be cleared before vehicle handover)
• Vehicle will not be released until payment has been confirmed
Agreement
By hiring a vehicle from B&B Car Rental, you agree to all fees, charges, and conditions outlined above.
